The Sugar Bowl Challenge 23

I have not taken part in many card challenges for a while but I fancied having a play with this sketch for the challenge on The Sugar Bowl. I am falling back in love with Sugar Nellie stamps having not used them much for a while, I am especially liking my Little cotton rabbits :)

Sorry for the scanned pic, I may try and take a photo in the daylight tomorrow.

Main stamp is Sugar Nellie, sentiment from a stamp set and papers from The funky hand.

Tilda is home!

My circle Journal Returned home yesterday :) I have taken pictures of each of the layouts done by the people in my group - they are all FAB!

March - First Tilda had a trip to visit Dawn in Letchworth Garden City:



April - Tilda had a fun trip to Christina's 60th Birthday cellebration in Scotland:

Our first circle journal had a few ups and downs and I ended up with only 8 entries instead of the initially expected 10 but I love my book and will look forward to doing another (I wonder if I could persuade enough people to do a whole Magnolia theme group?!)

Recent Cards

I have been bad at uploading cards recently so this post is just to show I have made some, LOL!

I made this card to send to someone as a little surprise, the image is from Fred She Said.

This card is made for a friend of my boyfriend, its mostly magnolias and I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

And this is my attempt at following some one sheet wonder instructions. I didn't make as many cards as it said and used the extra bits of patterened paper to decorate the box i made for it to go in, thought it would make a nice gift.

Calendars (altered clock bases)

I recently made an impulse purchase of 30 of these little mdf clock bases, I knew they would be useful :) The start of christmas present production. I just papered them then stamped and added a few bits and bobs. I think they have turned out quite well, I am going to put a magnet on the back - a nice quick but useful pressie!

This is my card using this week's sketch on Card Patterns Blog. The card is for my Boyfriend's niece who is two next weekend.

This image is part of a set of digi stamps from Pollycraft and I think very cute! She has been coloured using promarkers as have the yellow flowers. Bellow are a couple of close ups.
