Yes an important birthday is approaching rather fast, my niece is going to be two next week! My Magnolias have come out for the occasion, she loves strawberries so I stamped a rather scummy background of strawberries and used a summery Magnolia to go with it... I know not very seasonal but sometimes you have to pretend the sun is shining and its not freezing outside :)
The card in all its glory, still having camera issues, the 2 is glimmer misted not blotchy in real life...
All stamps used are from past Magnolia stamp club kits, looking forward to a new kit arriving soon to play with!

Spicy Christmas Cookies
A cheap and effective gift that is being made in this house for Christmas is jars of cookie mix, this is the first of quite a few :) The jars were £1 from ASDA so works out great as an extra pressie instead of the normal box of chocs!
Top of the jar, this stamp has come in so handy, I think it came off the front of a docrafts magazine... you never know what stamps are to be the best value, lol
Front of the jar, I printed the label and instructions onto nice paper and then just used circle punches to layer them up.
Reverse of jar with the instructions for making the cookies, these are yummy and the recipe fit perfectly in the jar... meant to be.
Please excuse the quality of picture on my blog at the moment, hoping father Christmas is going to bring me a new camera!
Thanks for looking, don't forget to enter my blog candy!

Gatefold Christmas Card
Now I don't want you to think this is the first Christmas card I have made, LOL, no this is number 66! This however is the first I feel worth sharing as the others were two orders one of 25 and one of 40 so needed to be pretty simple :)
It turns out that a gatefold card is quite tricky to photograph especially as it seems to have not bothered getting light here today, very dull and damp.
The last image is of the card open to show off the inside.
Materials used:
Paper - DCWV Christmas stack, gold card, off white card
Stamps - sentiments - personal impressions, swils - Unity
Embossed image - cuttlebug
Had good news today about the craft unit I'm to sell some of my cards in but I'll share that when its all confirmed
Thanks for looking, I hope today is a bit brighter where you are :)

Fab examples from the wonderful {ippity} DT
{ippity} stamps are yet to arrive in the UK so I thought I would share a few items the brilliant design team have come up with so far:
The above card was made by the fab Kelly
using stamps from the 'Because of You' set.
A stunner from Eva this uses the set 'just wanted to say' (don't forget this is my blog candy prize!!!)
A FAB mini book from Eryn
that uses the 'Life's Little Moments' stamp set, this set just looks so versatile.
Another fab card from Kelly, this uses stamps from three of the {ippity} sets, its great to see how they work well together. I just love the colours on this too :)
I have a special preorder offer on until the sets arrive, please pop over to my {ippity} blog or to my website that is now up and running for more info.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 23
I have not taken part in many card challenges for a while but I fancied having a play with this sketch for the challenge on The Sugar Bowl. I am falling back in love with Sugar Nellie stamps having not used them much for a while, I am especially liking my Little cotton rabbits :)
Sorry for the scanned pic, I may try and take a photo in the daylight tomorrow.
Main stamp is Sugar Nellie, sentiment from a stamp set and papers from The funky hand.

The great luggage tag sign in page:
November - Welcome Home Tilda, a little party with some old friends and a new one courtesy of Christina:
Our first circle journal had a few ups and downs and I ended up with only 8 entries instead of the initially expected 10 but I love my book and will look forward to doing another (I wonder if I could persuade enough people to do a whole Magnolia theme group?!)
